I'm Lefteris "Terry" Velivasakis, a Systems Administrator with a focus on cloud solutions and infrastructure management. After transitioning from real estate investment and property management, I founded and operated my own Managed Service Provider (MSP), assisting clients in migrating from local services to cloud platforms. Currently, I'm embracing exciting new challenges in a field I've always found fascinating, bringing my analytical skills, strategic mindset, and passion for technology from the boardroom to the server room.

After leaving Candia Holdings, I embraced my passion for technology and founded GridShift Technology—an MSP dedicated to empowering small offices and home-based businesses. I provide comprehensive IT and cybersecurity solutions, from help desk support to designing cutting-edge IT infrastructures.

Each new client brings exciting challenges and fresh insights. I'm grateful for the growth and knowledge I've gained through serving small businesses with GridShift Technology. As I continue to expand my skill set, I'm excited to take on even greater challenges while building upon the strong foundation I've established.

When I started Candia Holdings, I wanted to strike out on my own after spending time working for other investment firms. I relocated from New York to Florida and acquired an office building for the investors I had gathered. It was purchased out of foreclosure and it was in shambles. Over the next 2 years the building was completely overhauled and filled with executive suites.

As time progressed, the challenges I faced became technology related. Managing a building that held 150 tenants, each needing to be logically separated from the other all sharing a single backbone was one of the most exciting projects I had undertaken in my career to date. I was hooked and wanted more. From that project, my homelab began and the seeds of my career change were planted.

The role at SOFWERX offered the opportunity to engage with more complex and impactful projects, allowing me to fully utilize and expand my skill set. I was eager to be part of an innovative environment that directly contributes to advancing technology for our special operations forces and United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

At SOFWERX, I serve as a Systems Administrator, ensuring the seamless implementation and maintenance of our information systems. I provide technical advice to senior leadership, monitor system performance, and deliver training on new software. My role is pivotal in supporting SOFWERX's mission to foster collaboration and innovation, bringing new technology to the warfighter and driving technological advancements that support our nation's defense.
